...Poetry and Music: Reading Rumi's poems accompanied by
music -
a
Middle Eastern ney (reed) flute player and a frame
drummer.
Audience may be invited to join in as above.
...Poetry, Music and Whirling Dancers: Rumi's poems
accompanied by
at
least two musicians and two "whirling dervish" dancers
(semazen).
Audience and performers may mingle afterwards.
It
is also possible to have a full complement of eight musicians and
singers
with six semazen (whirling dervishes).
